“Snapchat Planets is more of a fun feature than something 100% accurate. It’s based on how much you interact with friends (snaps, chats, streaks), so the rankings can change over time. Sometimes it feels accurate, but other times it can be a bit off. So yeah, it gives a general idea of your closest friends, but I wouldn’t rely on it too seriously.
