I've recently started replaying some old PlayStation 2 games and was surprised by how well they still hold up. Setting up an emulator wasn't too difficult, but I noticed that compatibility and performance can change depending on the BIOS and emulator settings.

While researching, I came across some setup information at https://ps2biosonline.com/, which helped me understand the basics, but I'm interested in hearing what experienced users recommend.

For those who still enjoy retro gaming:

  • Which emulator are you using in 2026?
  • Do you prefer default settings or custom tweaks?
  • Are there any games that still have compatibility issues?

I'd appreciate any tips or recommendations before I spend more time fine-tuning my setup. Thanks in advance!
